Investance was founded in 2001 against a backdrop of increasing regulatory scrutiny into equity markets. At the same time a significant driver of change was the the Fed examining financial instruments trading t0 and t1. This combined with significant changes to the European Market with the creation of the Euro and transformation from a multi-markets and currency environment, to a single market and currency drove the need for banks to industrialize, be more efficient and reduce costs.
The founders brought together a group of people with industry experience, functional knowledge and skills into consultancy to help financial organisations to address these challenges. Investance offered an alternative model for experienced financial industry executives to combine their skills to offer greater value to clients. This was an innovative trend at the time, since most of other consultancy had consultants with little industry background.
Dedicated to Financial Services, Investance stood apart from the Big 4 and smaller consultancies that have long since diversified. This focus on Financial Services enabled us to attract a core group of industry leaders to join the company. We set about building our company, initially winning assignments for clients such as Cantor Fitzgerald, Calyon and BNP Paribas. Today, we are proud to be supporting clients that were with us from the beginning.
