Combining in-depth industrial experience and trading capabilities, GDF SUEZ Trading, a 100% GDF SUEZ subsidiary, is the consolidated trading arm of the Group in Europe.
At the forefront of energy and trading
Today, our company numbers 400 people, localised in Paris, Brussels, Rome, Berlin, Prague and Singapore. To best serve our markets, we are also in the process of opening a branch in Rome.
Unequivocally client-focused, we bring the best of both worlds – energy and trading – to our business partners, be they within the Group or external customers.
A key contributor to the Group’s asset optimisation activities and teams, we are strongly integrated into our parent company’s core activities. This proximity and deep understanding of the gas and power industrial spheres gives us the capacity to provide bespoke market services to GDF SUEZ’s global and diversified industrial asset portfolio. This know-how is also beneficial to our own clients.
On the other hand, the unified trading capabilities of Gaselys and Electrabel speak for themselves. Our teams are at the forefront of energy market developments, providing liquidity, market access and services to third parties. GDF SUEZ Trading was granted the status of investment services provider by the French and Belgian banking authorities, thus ensuring the highest standards of conduct of business rules, risk control and compliance for our clients and counterparts.
