Under the comprehensive strategy that includes logistic and production cost advantages, Fujikura's European subsidiary, Fujikura Automotive Europe S.A., established a Tangier Plant in May 2009 targeted for South European Market.
This July, Fujikura is pleased to announce that this Tangier Plant has now commenced full operations.
Fujikura is expanding its automobile-use wiring harness business worldwide, supplying a number of car manufacturers in diff erent countries. In addition to the existing European plant in Romania, the full operation of the Tangier Plant completes wiring harness supply bases in Europe.
Based upon these core supply bases, Fujikura will further strengthen its wiring harness business in Europe.
